Recently, I've been reading Liu Canyang. I admit, I haven't had the mood to write about the ancient times for a long time. When was the last book I wrote? I've long forgotten. It must have been over a year, or maybe more than two years ago! Writing about ancient stories always requires more preparation—from setting up basic daily necessities like food, clothing, and housing, to flipping through maps of that dynasty for location references. It may seem simple, but there are already more than ten reference books placed beside my computer. It can truly be called a sweet burden! Zhan Lan's story has always been something she wanted to write, but besides not having thought out the overall story structure, lack of motivation is also a key factor.
