Here, I will only discuss one teaching method in basic teaching—redrawing. For beginners, I would say, redrawing is the most intuitive, most direct, and most effective teaching method. Of course, it is also quite labor-intensive and demanding for teachers. During the process of redrawing, every moment reflects the teacher's teaching principles, such as the grasp of form, composition, the interplay of colors between objects, warm and cool tones, contrasts, harmony, and expressive handling. A painting, after only a short modification by the teacher, immediately refreshes the viewer. The areas that have been redrawn clearly show the student the problems in the original painting. Moreover, it greatly stimulates the student's visual perception and activates their artistic thinking.
