Features: This book addresses the current situation in China where the teaching content of fashion design programs often neglects the talent demands of the fashion industry, with curriculum disconnected from market development. Using international brand fashion as a reference and the comprehensive national conditions of China, particularly its industry characteristics where small and medium-sized fashion enterprises constitute the vast majority of the sector, the book establishes the requirements of fashion enterprises for design talent and the general model of branded fashion as its benchmark. The main content is centered on branded fashion, with design as the core focus, providing essential knowledge for fashion designers. Some sections rearrange and integrate knowledge from related disciplines from a design perspective, aligned with the current characteristics of the fashion industry. This serves as vital knowledge for fashion design students aiming to excel in product design, as well as for university students increasingly engaging in entrepreneurship, and for designers transitioning into management roles who must understand industry insights. The cases in the book are selected from typical fashion brands in the market, with a focus on domestic brands. To ensure the objectivity of the textbook and avoid unnecessary controversies, all domestic brand cases are referred to by English code names to eliminate any advertising bias. Cases marked by a single English letter are basic cases in the book, which will be repeatedly illustrated from multiple angles. Detailed information on these companies is provided in the appendix. Cases marked by two English letters are general cases and will not be elaborated upon in detail. This book is suitable for advanced professional course teaching for upper-level students who have mastered the basic skills of fashion design.
