Features: Foreign Legal History is an important foundational course in law. This textbook is primarily based on "Foreign Legal History," one of the "21st Century Law Series Textbooks" by Renmin University of China, and draws on important achievements from domestic and international textbooks, as well as the long-term teaching experience of the authors. Compared to previous textbooks, this one has three main features: , it discusses the content based on legal systems as the backbone and the development of legal systems in typical countries as the thread, with a more concise and compact structure. Second, it places greater emphasis on summarizing the legal experiences of modern developed countries, with modern legal content accounting for more than two-thirds of the total volume. Many chapters cover the new developments in law from the late 1990s to the early 21st century. Third, it adds several sidebars and illustrations to explain some important and complex issues in a concise and clear manner, making it easier for readers to grasp key knowledge points.
