Features: During the chaotic era of the Cultural Revolution, a group of young girls were placed at a military horse farm on the desolate grasslands of northwest China. Under this specific background, their destinies inevitably carried a strong sense of drama. The story begins with the entry of a girl named Xiaodian, who engages in incest, theft, and murder, into the all-female horse-herding class. It primarily portrays this collective, which resembles a group of female monks, from Xiaodian's perspective. This collective is crushed by absurd human nature and solemn divine nature, with young flesh and souls sacrificed as offerings to the altar of the so-called "ideal." And this "ideal," in the end, is recognized as sin.
