A shocking revelation of the companions' stage and backstage—love and hatred intertwined with blood and tears, a wild clash between tradition and modernity, a brutal battle between life and dreams. The long novel tells the story of three university graduates in a large northern city who work as companions. They are He Tingting, a graduate from the Department of Psychological Medicine, Shuilian, a graduate from the Department of Early Childhood Education, and Chenghao, a graduate from the Department of Engineering Physics. These three companions have vastly different attitudes and perspectives toward companionship, emotions, and life. Modern life ultimately strikes them in a special way.
