Features: The true research on multinational corporations in China began in the 1980s. Prior to that, the studies were extremely superficial, as multinational corporations were generally regarded as super monopoly organizations of imperialism. There was little research, understanding, or affirmation of their positive role in the international economic relationship. With the gradual development of China's reform and opening-up, academic research on multinational corporations became highly active. The scope of research expanded, and it became increasingly in-depth, making the study of strategic alliances of multinational corporations a priority on the agenda.
