This textbook was revised and completed based on the research results of the project. We express our gratitude to the Shandong Provincial Department of Education and Shandong University of Economics for providing financial support for the project research. We also extend our sincere thanks to the School of Continuing Education at Shandong University of Finance and Economics for their strong support in the publication of this book. In the past two decades, with the acceleration of financial globalization, the operational models, management theories, and management methods of commercial banks have undergone significant changes. Based on an understanding of Western commercial bank management theories, methods, and business development trends, combined with the development trends of commercial bank management and operation in China, this book employs a combination of theoretical and empirical analysis to conduct an in-depth study of various aspects of commercial banks, including internal organizational structures and external branch settings, the development and innovation of traditional banking business, and management methods of commercial banks (especially risk management methods). This book references a large number of domestic and international works and incorporates some of their achievements, for which we express our deep appreciation for the inspiration they provide.
