Features: This book strives to reflect the requirements of electronic technology theory and knowledge in computer science, closely integrating the application of semiconductor devices such as integrated circuits in computer hardware technology. It emphasizes the fundamental concepts and analytical methods of electronic technology while focusing on cultivating students' problem-solving and analytical skills. It also appropriately introduces knowledge related to new computer hardware technologies. The content is both accessible and practical, with summaries, exercises, and experiments at the end of each chapter. This book can serve as a textbook for computer science programs in secondary vocational schools, technical schools, and vocational colleges, as well as a self-study and reference resource for relevant technical personnel. Based on the same-titled textbook from 2000, this edition has been completely rewritten. The book is divided into two parts. Part 1 covers the fundamentals of analog electronics, including common semiconductor devices, transistor amplification circuits, operational amplifiers and their applications, and DC power supplies. Part 2 covers the fundamentals of digital electronics, including number systems and logic algebra, logic gates, combinational logic circuits, integrated flip-flops, sequential logic circuits, semiconductor memory, the 555 timer, and D/A and A/D converters. The total reference teaching hours for the entire book are 130–140 hours.
