Features: This book draws on the teaching model of MES (Modular Skills Training) developed by the International Labour Organization, emphasizing a student-centered approach, focusing on how knowledge serves skills, and reflecting the principles of "teaching according to needs" and "learning for application." It also features content that is easy to understand, broad in scope, highly integrated, up-to-date with a new system and model, practical and highly targeted, concise in length, and concise in language, making it suitable for flexible teaching organization. The book adopts a modular structure and is widely applicable to secondary vocational and technical education schools with different teaching conditions and requirements. It can also serve as a textbook for short-term training and pre-job training, as well as a reference for electricians and technicians in related positions in urban and rural areas and enterprises.
Based on the new concept of quality-oriented education and ability cultivation, the book follows the "Teaching Syllabus for 'Electrical Skills Training'" issued by the Ministry of Education in 2001 and is divided into two types of modules: basic and elective. The basic modules include:
- Safety and first-aid skills
- Basic electrical operation skills
- Skills for using common electrical instruments
- Skills for installing and maintaining electrical lighting and wiring engineering
- Skills for installing and maintaining low-voltage electrical appliances
The elective modules include:
- Skills for installing and maintaining single-phase asynchronous motors
- Skills for assembling and maintaining common power drives and machine control electrical appliances
Each module is divided into several training units based on ability training projects.
