Features: This course is a core professional course for the Electrical Operation and Control program in secondary vocational schools. Its objective is to enable students to acquire fundamental knowledge and skills in areas such as sensors, automatic detection methods, and anti-interference technology, and to flexibly apply the learned automatic detection techniques in practical production. At the same time, it lays a solid foundation for graduation projects and future work. This book is compiled based on the newly issued "Teaching Guidance Program for the Electrical Operation and Control Program" by the Ministry of Education. The entire book provides a detailed introduction to the content of automatic detection and conversion technology from an applied perspective. It covers: basic concepts of detection technology, strain sensors, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), gas and humidity-sensitive resistive sensors, self-induction sensors, differential transformers, eddy current sensors, capacitive sensors, piezoelectric sensors, ultrasonic sensors, Hall sensors, thermocouple sensors, photoelectric sensors, as well as anti-interference techniques and the comprehensive application of automatic detection and conversion technology. To strengthen students' hands-on abilities, this textbook also includes three characteristic experiments related to capacitors, inductors, and metal foil strain gauge sensors. Building on the analysis of fundamental technologies and application issues, it emphasizes the cultivation of students' problem-solving skills, focusing on basic principles with the criteria of "necessary" and "sufficient," and strengthening the training of fundamental skills. Through reading this textbook, readers will be able to master basic analytical methods and learn essential skills.
