Features: The conception of the "Series of Studies on Criminal Law of China" originated in 1996. In 1997, it was approved by a joint meeting of the President, Vice Presidents, Secretary-General, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Society, and was included as a key research project of the "Nineth Five-Year Plan" by the China Criminal Law Research Association. The series consists of 11 books, namely "General Theory of Criminal Law," "Criminal Criminology," "Criminal Policy," "Substantive Criminal Law," "Procedural Criminal Law," "Criminal Investigation," "Criminal Evidence," "Criminal Prosecution," "Criminal Trial," "Criminal Defense," and "Criminal Execution Law." The content of this book is designed based on the essential content and principles of criminal law, making it relatively comprehensive and scientific. From what we understand of the current state of criminal law research both in China and abroad, such a large-scale series of books is unprecedented. In terms of content, we strive to bring innovation, comprehensively reviewing, examining, and academically revising the current criminal law and system both in theory and practice.
