Features: The TOEIC test is developed by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in the United States as an international standard for professional English assessment. It is adopted by more than 60 countries and 4,000 multinational companies and is a requirement for personnel recruitment, employee promotions, and overseas assignments. The TOEIC certificate is known as the "ID card for white-collar professionals." The TOEIC test was introduced to China by the National Ministry of Labor and Social Security in November 2002. It is currently the only exam in China to receive dual authoritative certification from both the U.S. and China, and the National Ministry of Labor and Social Security issues the "China Professional English Level Certificate" to those who pass the exam.
