Features: The content of this book: Some older people might remember: In the past, along the winding ancient roads between the ruins of the Great Wall in the Badain Jaran Desert and the Tengger Desert, one often saw a white-haired folk wandering artist sitting on a large-wheeled cart unique to the desert areas, pulled by a camel. Amidst the rolling sand and wind, he played an ancient folk song on a sanxian: "Close up, the sand dunes merge into one, Far away, the blue sky appears on the sand waves. The desert road is desolate, yet in the desert, there is a sweet spring." No one knew the old man's real name. All they knew was that the adults and children in the desert villages called him Langmu, and so we call him Langmu too. Old Langmu was a lone figure, and he had never been seen with any companion, except for a black dog that followed him slowly behind his large-wheeled cart.
