Features: With the deepening of reform and opening-up, especially after joining the WTO, China's foreign trade has developed rapidly, with a significant proportion accounted for by trade with Japan. Therefore, Business Japanese has become particularly important. To this end, we have compiled this "Commercial Correspondence: Japanese-Chinese Mutual Translation Tutorial" based on our years of experience in teaching Business Japanese. This book is intended for students in their third year of university or self-learners who have completed "Standard Japanese (Intermediate)". It consists of correspondence such as inquiries, quotations, orders, insurance, shipping, settlement, claims, distribution, and other related business documents. The book is structured by chapters and sections, featuring practical examples with reference translations, as well as corresponding comprehensive exercises and answers. Adhering to the principle of concise explanation and extensive practice, the annotations on the practical examples focus on business terminology, honorific language usage, and common sentence patterns. To reinforce and enhance the knowledge learned from the text, each chapter includes a selection of comprehensive exercises. Improving mutual translation skills in Japanese and Chinese should emphasize practical translation rather than empty translation theories. Readers should dedicate more time and effort to completing the comprehensive exercises. Learning from others' translation methods and techniques is also very important, so it is necessary to carefully study the examples of business correspondence and their reference translations.
