Features: Chinese people believe that success depends on human effort, as everything is done by people. Therefore, management should prioritize people. If the concepts are not aligned, it is difficult to manage with a focus on people while remaining close and effective in getting the work done. Chinese management places great emphasis on shared values; if people have different principles, they cannot work together. It strives to align based on shared principles, with people having the same aspirations and concepts, enabling them to work in harmony. Our communication style differs greatly from Westerners. When speaking with Westerners, if there is no conclusion, communication becomes very difficult. When communicating with Chinese people, it is best to avoid conclusions to prevent unnecessary rejection or resistance. Our approach is to let the other party draw their own conclusions, rather than imposing conclusions on them. All these differences are cultural variations in interpersonal communication that must be understood. It is worth paying special attention to them, as without studying them, things might be better. The more one studies, the further they may stray from Chinese society, leading to counterproductive effects. Some arguments in the book may seem ancient and outdated at first glance. However, upon deeper understanding, one realizes that these are modern misinterpretations, leading to incorrect perceptions, and that these principles are actually sound.
