Features: This research report is an annual routine research report on China's capital market by the Financial Studies Institute (FSI) of Renmin University of China. The theme of this year's research report is "Chinese Listed Companies: Capital Structure and Corporate Governance." Since 1997, FSI has published 7 research reports on China's capital market. These 7 reports reflect the development process of China's capital market from both theoretical and policy perspectives, and they embody the heart and wisdom of experts both inside and outside the FSI, as well as many experts with good cooperative relationships with FSI. This research report was once used as the keynote speech at the "7th China Capital Market Forum" held at Renmin University of China. This research report was primarily drafted by Professor Wu Xiaoqiu, Director of the Financial Studies Institute (FSI) of Renmin University of China, with the joint contribution of FSI experts and relevant experts both inside and outside the university. It is also an important part of the final research of the project "Capital Market in the Modern Financial System," a key research base project of the Ministry of Education.
