The book primarily reflects the significant research achievements of the Institute of Chinese Studies at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Public Policy at Tsinghua University in recent years on domestic conditions research and development strategy, as well as public policy. The 18 articles included in this book were originally published in the China Domestic Conditions Analysis Research Report in a serial manner for reference by central, provincial, municipal, and ministerial-level leaders for decision-making. In the course of our research, we received funding and support from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University, and the Oxfam (Hong Kong) also provided financial support. This book was carefully selected and edited by Dr. Men Honghua, as a ( means "interim achievement" or "stage achievement") of the research project on "China's Grand Strategy."
