Features: Sketching is an independent form of painting art. As a painting language and form, sketching possesses unique aesthetic value and artistic quality. At the same time, it is also the foundation of other plastic arts. The ability of sketching is first reflected in perceptual ability, followed by realistic ability. Cultivating and improving students' perceptual ability, overall awareness, holistic observation, and comprehensive grasp of the picture is our teaching philosophy in sketching. In teaching, we consistently focus on cultivating students' aesthetic ability, as well as guiding and fostering their artistic creativity. This is not only the starting point of sketching teaching but also its ultimate goal. In the face of current exam-oriented education, how to address its drawbacks and issues is a topic of common concern and research for all art educators. While clarifying the quality-oriented teaching philosophy, we also continuously explore and research practical teaching methods in our specific teaching practice. This requires our teachers to study and explore diligently, constantly improve their teaching skills, and continuously refine their teaching in practice.
