Features: Each chapter of this book includes English summaries, and appropriate foreign-language examples and exercises are added to adapt to bilingual teaching. This book is suitable for undergraduate medical and pharmaceutical majors in colleges and universities across the country, and can also be used for night university students and continuing education reference for medical personnel. The book contains approximately 450,000 words, over 100 illustrations, and 12 photos. The book is divided into 5 parts and 15 chapters:
- The Solution Part includes 5 chapters: colligative properties of non-volatile non-electrolyte dilute solutions, electrolyte solutions, buffer solutions, polyphase ion equilibrium of sparingly soluble strong electrolytes, and colloids and emulsions.
- The Basic Principles Part includes 4 chapters: an introduction to chemical thermodynamics, the direction and limits of chemical reactions, reaction rates, and redox reactions and electrode potentials.
- The Matter Structure Part includes 3 chapters: atomic structure and the periodic table, covalent bonds and intermolecular forces, and coordination compounds.
- The Analysis Part includes 2 chapters: titration analysis and spectrophotometry.
- The Environment Part includes 1 chapter: environmental chemistry knowledge.
Each book is accompanied by a carefully designed student CD-ROM, adapted for multimedia teaching, which is beneficial for students' self-study, review, and exam preparation. The CD-ROM content is divided into five parts: teaching requirements, detailed explanations of typical examples, solutions to review questions and exercises (with detailed answers to approximately 450 questions throughout the book), a question bank (including test papers and answers from the editorial board's respective schools), and bilingual keywords and indexes.
