Publishing Date: 2003-10-01
Features: To regulate the work of master's degree applications by individuals with equivalent academic qualifications and ensure the quality of degree conferment, the 16th meeting of the State Council Academic Degrees Commission decided to introduce a national unified examination on comprehensive academic level for applicants with equivalent academic qualifications. Starting from September 1, 1999, individuals applying for master's degrees with equivalent academic qualifications must obtain the "Certificate of Qualification for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level" in their respective disciplines, which is a prerequisite for obtaining the master's degree. The purpose of the comprehensive academic level examination is to strengthen the macro-control and standardized management of the national master's degree conferment for individuals with equivalent academic qualifications, and it is an important step for the state to assess the professional knowledge structure and level of applicants for master's degrees with equivalent academic qualifications. In 1998, we organized experts to compile and publish the "Outline and Guide for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level for Business Administration Applicants with Equivalent Academic Qualifications." Over the past five years, based on the suggestions of a large number of candidates and relevant experts, we have revised this book carefully on the basis of summarizing the experience of recent years' unified examinations. The revised outline (Second Edition) will serve as the basis for setting questions for the national unified examination on comprehensive academic level for business administration applicants with equivalent academic qualifications in the coming years, and can be used as a reference for teaching and tutoring by universities and colleges. It can also serve as a reference for candidates to review and prepare for the examination.
