Features: To showcase the achievements of literary creation since the founding of the country and promote the further development and prosperity of socialist literature in China, we have successively compiled and published the "Selected Works of Contemporary Chinese Writers Series." This series plans to select representative works (including children's literature) of writers who have made significant contributions to literary creation since the founding of New China, such as short stories, novels, poems, and essays. Each writer will have a separate volume, with each volume approximately 250,000 words, accompanied by the author's photograph, autograph, and a list of major works. This is to align with the "Selected Works of Modern Chinese Writers Series" co-edited by our press and Hong Kong Joint Publishing Company, forming a complete series. From each volume, readers can see the basic creative style and achievements of a particular writer; when all the volumes are combined, they provide an overall overview of the basic landscape and major accomplishments of contemporary Chinese literary creation (excluding novels).
