In a desperate "recruitment," Niu Niu, who works at McDonald's, is unknowingly lured into the deception and takes on the role of the faraway Lin Xiaofan from Taiwan. Seeing "Lin Xiaofan drop from the sky," overjoyed Lin Decheng miraculously revives. But as time passes, the Lin family has mixed opinions about Niu Niu, the new member. To make matters worse, she falls in love with her half-brother, Lin Weiliang, who shares the same father as Lin Xiaofan. Just as Lin Decheng enjoys a joyful time with his "daughter," the real Lin Xiaofan arrives from Taiwan, exhausted from her journey. With the deception on the verge of being exposed, Lin Deming and his wife bring Niu Niu's father in to pretend to be Lin Decheng and Lin Xiaofan for a reunion. Thus, in an atmosphere of truth and deception, contradiction and complexity, a touching story full of true love unfolds.
