Chinese classical literature transfer reading and ability detection

Features: "Reading and understanding basic content of simple classical Chinese with the help of annotations and reference books" is the requirement of the "National Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education in Chinese" for students in grades 7-9. Cultivating students' ability to read and understand simple classical Chinese primarily involves guiding them to read and practice more, and developing their sense of reading classical Chinese during this process. To facilitate teachers in guiding students' reading and practice, we have specially invited experienced curriculum developers and teachers to compile the book "Classical Chinese Reading and Ability Testing for Junior High School Students." The book has the following features:
1. Appropriate difficulty level. The classical Chinese texts in this book are selected from different versions of the curriculum standards textbooks, making it easier for students to transfer their reading skills to other texts after understanding the in-class materials.
2. Direct translation with a comparison of ancient and modern terms, with annotations for key words and sentences. This helps students compare the differences between ancient and modern terms, understand their meanings, and grasp the content.
3. Combination of reading and practice. Each article is followed by exercises, and each semester includes "Testing and Improvement" to guide students in summarizing relevant classical Chinese knowledge and deepening their understanding of the texts.
4. The book includes an appendix summarizing the usage of common classical Chinese real and virtual words, as well as common classical Chinese sentence patterns and literary knowledge, to facilitate students' comprehensive review for the junior high school entrance exam.
