Features: Fang Chuxiong, male, born in 1950 in Shantou City, Guangdong. Graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1978. Currently a professor, master's supervisor, and deputy director of the Chinese Painting Department at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, as well as a part-time professor at Jinan University. Member of the China Artists Association and Standing Committee Member of the Guangdong Artists Association. He has held solo exhibitions in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Jinan, Shantou, and Puning. His works have been selected for national art exhibitions multiple times and have been sent to exhibitions in France, the United States, Canada, Thailand, Japan, and other countries. Many of his works have been collected by the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, Zhongnanhai, the Beijing Fuyutai State Guest House, and museums and art galleries across the country. He has published over ten personal monographs and art books. In 1997, he was honored by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Artists Association as one of the "Top 100 Masters of Chinese Painting in 1997."
