Features: Landscape painting, special watercolor landscape sketching. It is best to start with the sky because the colors of the sky and clouds are ever-changing. Some must be captured through memory, as hesitation can lead to missed opportunities—only to sigh at the sky. Also, since the colors of the sky directly reflect on the scenery, they are one of the key components in establishing the overall color tone of the painting. The influence of morning or evening glows and the deep blue sky on the color tone of the scenery is so strong and different. Additionally, if uneven branches and other elements are painted first, then trying to add the sky afterward can be cumbersome and ineffective. Furthermore, the boundary between heaven and earth is the distant background, which is relatively faint and has colors similar to the sky. It is ideal to paint the distant background when the sky's colors are almost dry but still moist, as this helps achieve harmony and a sense of depth. Of course, if the scenery is relatively cohesive and the influence of the sky's colors is minimal, and if it is urgent to capture the light and shadow rhythm and the color of the moment, then it is also acceptable to paint the scenery first and then the sky. This requires flexible handling.
