Features: According to the requirements of the notice issued by our department titled "Notice on Issuing the Plan for Formulation and Revision of National Engineering Construction Standards in 1999" (Jiabiao [1999] No. 308), the "Design Code for Pig Slaughter and Cutting Workshop" was formulated jointly by the State Domestic Trade Administration and relevant departments. After joint review by relevant authorities, it was approved as a mandatory national standard with the code GB50317-2000, and shall come into effect on March 1, 2001.
