Features: To implement the "Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Solid Waste Pollution Environment Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China," prevent and control the pollution of medical waste to the environment, protect the environment, and safeguard human health, this standard has been formulated. This standard references QC/T450-2000 "Technical Conditions for Insulated Trucks and Refrigerated Trucks," and adds relevant environmental protection requirements for the control of medical waste pollution. Appendix A of this standard is normative. This standard was proposed by the Technology and Standards Department of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Industry and Transportation Department of the China National Standards Management Committee, and the Industrial Policy Department of the National Development and Reform Commission. This standard was drafted by units such as the Institute of Environmental Standards Research of the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences. This standard is a trial standard, effective from June 30, 2003, with a trial period of one year.
