Features: Today, out of every 10 people in China, 1 is from Henan, and out of every 60 people on Earth, 1 is from Henan. However, today's Henanese people are in a very awkward situation. Across the Great Wall and the Yangtze River, a slogan is widely spreading—"Never trust people from Henan." The term "people from Henan" here, like in the popular saying "Prevent fire, prevent theft, prevent people from Henan," is no longer a simple label for those living on the land of the Yellow River in the middle reaches. It has become a genuine derogatory term, filled with complex and contemptuous connotations, almost as hated as "Yankee" or "Japanese devil" in the past. Discrediting people from Henan has become a kind of "fashion" in today's secular society, an extremely unhealthy cultural phenomenon. On the surface, tens of millions of living and breathing people from Henan have become the objects of discrimination, harm, and humiliation; on a deeper level, it is the ancient Central Plains culture that is being discriminated against, harmed, and humiliated. If Mount Song could speak, if the Yellow River could cry out, then today's "Heavenly Question" would undoubtedly be: What's wrong with people from Henan? Who have you provoked?!
