Features: This book can be used as a textbook for the course of Mathematical Analysis in mathematics majors at universities and colleges, and is also suitable for other related majors. It is the research outcome of the Ministry of Education's "Reform Plan for Teaching Content and Curriculum Systems in Higher Education Towards the 21st Century," and is a textbook for the 21st-century curriculum. Based on the "Mathematical Analysis" published by the Department of Mathematics, Fudan University, over the past 20 years, this book was written to meet the needs of reforming mathematics teaching towards the 21st century. Combining years of teaching experience and insights, the book has made beneficial reforms in terms of system, content, perspective, methods, and presentation. The book is published in two volumes. The first volume includes eight chapters: Sets and Mappings, Limits of Sequences, Limits and Continuous Functions of Functions, Differentiation, Mean Value Theorems and Their Applications, Indefinite Integrals, Definite Integrals, and Improper Integrals. The second volume includes eight chapters: Series of Terms, Series of Functions, Topology on Euclidean Spaces, Differentiation of Multivariable Functions, Multiple Integrals, Line Integrals and Surface Integrals, Integrals with Parameters, and Fourier Series.
