Each chapter begins with a description of the relevant problem, then develops the mathematical model for the problem, designs a computational method to solve the model, constructs an implementation based on the method, and finally evaluates the solution produced by the implementation. At the end of each chapter, key concepts developed in the chapter are reviewed. Except for Chapter 1, each chapter includes a comprehensive set of exercises.
