The book consists of ten chapters, mainly explaining the basic knowledge of practical metalworking technology, including fitting practice, casting practice, forging and pressing practice, welding practice, heat treatment practice, turning practice, milling practice, planing practice, and grinding practice. The content covers the main knowledge points of the manufacturing process of mechanical parts. Each chapter is followed by review questions for students to think about and practice.
