Features: Every year, many children begin learning the piano, and the age at which they start playing is becoming increasingly younger. Therefore, it is essential to choose a beginner piano textbook suitable for children. "Beyer's Piano Method for Young Children" is the most commonly used one, which is naturally suitable for primary school students and middle-aged children. However, for younger children, especially those who have started playing the piano around the age of four in recent years, simply enlarging the musical score notes is not suitable for their mental and physical characteristics.
Therefore, from 1953 to the present, I have written large-note music scores for numerous young children with an average age of four and a half months, as a transition before learning "Beyer," to help them smoothly enter the study of "Beyer." Even after starting to learn "Beyer," these supplementary materials still need to be practiced to strengthen left-hand training, enabling them to play as freely as the right hand. At the same time, considering the differences in learning progress among each child, corresponding pieces have been included, making it a record of children's learning progress.
I have written approximately 100 sets of materials, with each set containing 8 lessons as one piece, totaling about 2,000 pieces. From these, I have carefully selected and mixed them with "Beyer" to create the final publication.
