Part IV Cultivation and Management of Broad Beans, including soil cultivation, sowing, population structure, irrigation, fertilization, field management, harvesting and storage, as well as specialized broad bean cultivation techniques, written by Ye. Among them, the chapter on fertilization was written by Zhao Lifen. Part V Pests, Diseases, Weeds, and Rodents of Broad Beans, including the types, occurrence patterns, and control measures of pests, diseases, weeds, and rodents, written by Yang Zengshi. Among them, the chapter on diseases was written by Wang Jiahe, and the chapter on rodent pests was written by Ma Tingsong.
