Features: Basic Economics and Mathematics is one of the core courses designated by the Ministry of Education for undergraduate finance and economics majors. It includes three specific courses: "Calculus," "Linear Algebra," and "Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics." Through years of mathematical practice, we have found that finance and economics students generally find doing math problems challenging, and the idea of learning mathematics without doing exercises is merely a fantasy. At the same time, today's college students have a heavy course load, tight schedules, and must also prepare for various proficiency exams, leaving them with little time to do a large number of exercises. Therefore, we have written this study and problem-solving guide, aiming to help students quickly improve their problem-solving skills by selecting fewer representative exercises, and to thoroughly master basic concepts, theories, and operational skills, thereby achieving better learning outcomes. The content of this book is divided into nine chapters, each of which includes basic requirements and learning highlights, an understanding and analysis of main content, solutions to typical examples, and exercises with answers. As a supplementary textbook, highlighting key points and reinforcing practice are the features of this book.
