Features: Life science tells us that life cannot be eternal, and humans cannot be "immortal forever." Life is a finite natural process, with birth accompanied by death and beginning by end. "Life is limited" is an eternal law of nature that no one can resist. Scientific materialists believe that the soul is also not immortal. Consciousness is matter, but it is different from matter in that it possesses spiritual characteristics. It is a function of the human brain. Only after the emergence of humans did human spirit appear, and the soul emerged with humans and disappeared with their death. All things in the world, including human birth, aging, illness, and death, can ultimately be understood through continuous scientific exploration.
Since ancient times, everyone has longed for longevity. However, health is more important than longevity. People do not desire a long life plagued by illness and suffering in bed but rather a healthy, happy, and joyful life, which is a life of physical and mental well-being, seeking longevity within health. Therefore, anti-aging, preventing decline, and achieving healthy longevity are hot topics of concern for the majority of middle-aged and elderly people. Currently, the elderly population in China has reached 126 million, accounting for 10% of the total population and nearly 1/5 of the global elderly population. The concerns of such a vast group of people also constitute a major social issue.
