This book is divided into two parts. The first part introduces the basics of equipment manufacturing and inspection, including metal materials and testing, machining processes, casting inspection, forging quality, electrical equipment testing, non-destructive testing (liquid penetration, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and radiation testing), and the manufacturing and inspection of nuclear fuel assemblies. The second part covers the manufacturing and quality supervision of nuclear power station equipment, including main equipment of the nuclear island (reactor pressure vessel, steam generator, coolant pump, pressurizer, etc.), equipment of safety systems and general equipment (e.g., tanks, pumps, motors, heat exchangers, etc.), as well as the manufacturing, inspection, and quality supervision requirements for main equipment of the conventional island (turbines, generators, feedwater pumps, steam-water separator reheaters, main transformers, etc.) and general equipment.
This book can serve as a basic reference for personnel involved in the quality supervision of nuclear power station equipment manufacturing, and can also be used as a training textbook for quality inspection supervisors of nuclear power station equipment.
