Features: In the past two decades, Chinese design education has undergone significant changes in both quantity and quality, with East-West cultural exchanges continuously advancing to broader and deeper levels. Against this backdrop, traditional Chinese painting foundation education and design education have been constantly reflecting and reevaluating themselves. In the comparison between internationalization and national identity, we seek to find the unique language of Chinese design education. To this end, we have launched the "Intersection Visual Design Series" for the new century, providing references for design thinking and operations. We welcome everyone to pay attention and participate together. This book is based on the needs of the Chinese design education context, covering 9 chapters and 22 sections from "Basic Element Exercises" to "Graphic Practice and Research." The determination and arrangement of the total course hours are proposed based on the teaching needs of graphic design.
