Purple is elegant, purple is romantic, and purple also carries a hint of solitude. The lonely Zi Yi, bound by a promise to leave the man who has always cared for her, Xiao Fan, meets a sunny boy named Ruo Chen, who looks very much like Kazehaya, in the hospital. Meanwhile, Zi Yi discovers a captivating lavender on the leaf of Yun Zhonghe's "Purple Mist and Fragrance," a shade of purple she has longed for in her dreams. Unintentionally, time and again, Zi Yi and Ruo Chen draw closer. She feels Ruo Chen's attentiveness and kindness, listening to the voice of her heart. What Zi Yi didn't expect is that everything seems to have been quietly arranged by someone. When the day comes to finally unravel all the mysteries, she sees the purple of her dreams once more.
