The author's diaries consist of one volume from July 28, 1924, to the end of March 1925, and nineteen volumes from August 22, 1931, to August 2, 1948. However, among these nineteen volumes, two are missing—one covering February 23, 1940, to January 31, 1941, and the other from June 14, 1941, to November 8, 1941. Only seventeen volumes are included in the complete collection. Diaries before 1938 are collected in this volume, while those after 1939 are included in the tenth volume.
