Features: Throughout the long history of China, numerous talented women, heroic women, beautiful women, divine women, and others have appeared in reality and legend. They are like tiny droplets rolling on a lotus leaf, successively shining with brilliance in a piece of history. Although these small droplets eventually disappear into the long river of history, their names and deeds often remain in human records, oral tradition, and memory. The artist Wang Qian has collected these famous women, processed them artistically, and thus created this collection. The author uses small, round clay blocks taken from the loess plateau of Central China, processes them, and carves one hundred illustrations of talented women, heroic women, beautiful women, divine women, and others in the form of miniature round reliefs, employing the method of Chinese folk clay molds. Each illustration is accompanied by a photo of the original artifact, a rubbing, an engraved title, and the poems created by the author.
