Features: Over 5,000 years, the content of sexual culture across various aspects and dynasties is vast and ever-growing in terms of data. However, how can we summarize, refine, and correctly grasp it? Studying history is not just about indulging in nostalgia for the past; it is about applying ancient wisdom to the present and using the past to reflect on the present. So, what conclusions and lessons can we draw from the 5,000-year history of sexual culture? Sex influences society by affecting population, and both a shortage or excess of population are highly detrimental to social development. As a result, societies must take corresponding measures. For example, in the 18th century, a small European country, Prussia, suffered from a population shortage and thus encouraged childbirth, even promoting promiscuity to rapidly increase its population in a short period. Nowadays, in some countries, the male population has sharply declined, leading to severe gender imbalance, forcing them to become quite liberal in terms of sexual relationships between men and women. Over 5,000 years, the content of sexual culture across various aspects and dynasties is vast and ever-growing in terms of data. Ten years ago, I did not fully grasp this, but now, I feel I have a deeper understanding. If it were just a pile of materials, it might be overwhelming for readers, but some guiding principles would be better. Therefore, in this book, I added "Sex Can Influence History" and "Three Epics Reflecting Ancient Love" as the "Introduction," and titled "Historical Insights and Conclusions" as the "Afterword," to provide readers with a deeper rational experience and to strengthen analysis throughout the book.
