Features: Since the State Personnel Department and the Ministry of Construction implemented the Qualification System for Cost Engineers in the field of construction project cost management in 1996, the national Cost Engineer Qualification Examination has continuously been improved and refined. The National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Training Textbook Editorial Committee, based on the "National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Training Textbook" formulated by the Ministry of Construction in conjunction with the State Personnel Department in 1997 and 2000, has organized the writing of this set of training textbooks in accordance with the revised "National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Syllabus" by the Ministry of Construction and the State Personnel Department in 2003. These textbooks are intended for use in the national Cost Engineer Qualification Examination from 2003 onwards. The newly revised National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Training Textbooks are divided into "Basic Theory and Related Regulations of Construction Project Cost Management," "Construction Project Costing and Control," "Construction Project Technology and Measurement" (one volume for civil engineering and one for installation engineering), and "Construction Project Cost Analysis Case Studies." In addition to serving as training textbooks for the Cost Engineer Qualification Examination, this set of textbooks can also be used as reference materials for professionals engaged in construction project cost management in construction, design, construction, and engineering consulting organizations, as well as teaching reference books for higher education institutions specializing in construction project cost management.
