Expectation (Erwartung) - "Waiting for Ding at Shuyesifu Mountain Studio" by Meng Haoran
The setting sun crosses the western ridge, and the ravines are suddenly dark.
Pine moon brings night coolness, and the wind and spring fill the clear listening.
Woodcutter's return is almost complete, and smoke birds settle at first.
The one I expect to stay overnight, waits alone on the loam path with a lute.
Summer (Kühler Sommertag) - "Summer" by Bai Juyi
The eastern window is late without heat, and the northern door has cool wind.
Sitting and lying all day, not leaving a room.
The heart has no ties, and it is the same as going out.
Lenchtkafer - "Lenchtkafer" by Li Jiafu
The reflection in the water is hard to determine, and the body in the void is naturally light.
Night wind does not reduce it, and autumn dew washes it bright.
Towards the candle, the flame is still divided, and throwing a book is more books.
Still taking the flowing and chaotic shadow, coming here by the eaves and pillars.
Farewell (Abschied) - "Seeing Meng Haoran Off at Yellow Crane Tower" by Li Bai
An old friend departs from the Yellow Crane Tower,
In the flower and smoke of March, he goes down to Yangzhou.
A single sail disappears into the blue sky,
Only the Yangtze River flows to the horizon.
