This is the fourth volume, containing sixteen units, each divided into four parts. Preparation Activities: Revolving around the text topic, these activities encourage students to speak, warming them up for the upcoming listening and speaking exercises. Listening & Speaking Practice: This section includes two listening materials and two speaking activities, designed to cultivate students' listening and speaking skills. It contains two exercises: 1. Listening Tasks: These tasks train students' ability to understand the overall content and extract specific information, enabling them to grasp the main ideas of the text and the author's emotions. 2. Speaking Tasks: These tasks focus on developing students' coherent expression skills, requiring them to respond to the ideas and reflections presented in the text. Students are guided to discuss the topic based on provided sample short essays from interesting or contrasting perspectives. Part C Additional Listening: At the end of each unit, additional listening exercises are provided, featuring dialogues, short passages, or dictation related to the theme.
