Balancing language proficiency and comprehensive application skills: The series textbooks revolve around the "Comprehensive Textbook" as the core. Each unit focuses on a theme reflecting contemporary life, supplemented by the "Listening and Speaking Textbook," "Reading Textbook," and "Fast Reading Textbook." This guides students to deeply and comprehensively acquire and master language and cultural knowledge related to each theme, along with rich language materials, while fully practicing their language comprehensive application skills on the realistic theme.
A dual-winning strategy of quality cultivation and successful exam preparation: Each textbook includes a certain number of exercises similar to those of the CET exams. The "Test Yourself" section in the "Comprehensive Textbook" is designed in the form of a CET exam paper, allowing students to familiarize themselves with the format and requirements of the CET exam while learning language knowledge and training language application skills, achieving the goal of balancing quality cultivation and exam preparation.
The "College English" series textbooks is a novel, multi-dimensional supplementary textbook composed of books, audio-visual materials, CDs, and online resources. Since their release in 2001, they have been widely welcomed and praised by schools in use. Due to their comprehensive adherence to the basic requirements of college foreign language teaching proposed by the Ministry of Education, they have been selected as the "National Planning Textbooks for General Higher Education 'Five-Year Plan'" and the "Ministry of Education Recommended College Foreign Language Textbooks."
