Features: Wang Guozhen, originally from Xiamen, Fujian, was born in Beijing. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Jinan University. His poetry collections have set a new record for book sales since the publication of new poetry. He has won the National Book "Golden Key" Award three times. In 1997, a survey by Beijing Zero Point Company on "Contemporary Chinese Poets People Admire" ranked him among poets born after the founding of the People's Republic of China. In 2000, five of his essays were selected for the full-time senior high school Chinese reader published by the People's Education Press. Wang Guozhen has also achieved remarkable results in painting and calligraphy. His calligraphy works have been engraved in famous scenic spots such as Zhangjiajie, Huangshan, and Wutai Mountain. He was also invited to create calligraphy and painting works for a group of tourism small foreign-invested hotels, including the Shangri-La Hotel Group. In 2002, he was selected for the book "China's Hundred Years of Calligraphy and Painting Stars" published by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Press that year. In 2003, he was also selected for the book "The Soul of Calligraphy and Painting – A Grand View of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters" published by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Press. In recent years, Wang Guozhen has begun to study and create music. In 2003, he completed composing music for 300 classical Chinese poems and thousands of contemporary lyrics. In November 2003, China Musician Audiovisual Publishing House released his first music album "Listening and Understanding Wang Guozhen – The Name of Happiness is Forever," composed by him. From December 2003 to January 2004, he was invited to serve as a judge for four consecutive sessions of the CCTV "Music Battle" singer competition. Wang Guozhen has also been invited to lecture at dozens of universities, including Peking University, Renmin University of China, and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Numerous programs such as CCTV's "Eastern Sons," "Art Life," "Variety Show," and "Zhengda Variety Show," Hong Kong Phoenix TV's "Lu Yu Has an Appointment," Henan TV's "Cultural Window," Hebei TV's "New Reading Experience," Hubei TV's "Past Events," Shanxi TV's "Inland Discussion," Beijing TV's "Modern Figures," and Shanghai TV's "Hot Figures" have all introduced him.
