Bach Preludes and Fugues Collection

Author: Bach

Publish Date: 2004-04-01
Features: The intention of the compiler of this collection is to select from the teaching piano works composed by J.S. Bach those that are relatively easier to perform and compile them into a special collection. The printing of these works includes some from Bach's original manuscripts and others based on reliable old editions. For those with autographed manuscripts, we remain completely faithful to the manuscripts, and therefore no hand-copied scores that differ from the originals due to pure errors or arbitrary, valueless alterations have been adopted here. For other original manuscripts that are mostly already lost, we have carefully and cautiously compiled them based on our understanding of Bach's style and technique, referring to various ancient editions as much as possible. We hope that experts will agree with the selection of this collection.
