Features: This series of books is a preparation guide for candidates taking the National (Pharmacy Category). The authors who participated in the writing are all top-tier, highly authoritative, and experienced frontline training teachers from renowned pharmacy schools in China. Based on extensive experience in conducting training, the writing team has developed this book around the core of the new edition of the National syllabus and examination guide, adhering to the principle of guiding candidates to prepare scientifically, reasonably, and efficiently. This preparation guide is divided into three volumes, including:
- Volume 1: Pharmaceutical Knowledge (Part 1): Pharmacology and Drug Analysis
- Volume 2: Pharmaceutical Knowledge (Part 2): Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Chemistry
- Volume 3: Pharmaceutical Comprehensive Knowledge and Skills
These volumes cover all examination subjects, with each chapter structured into four parts: syllabus requirements, key points and focus areas, typical examples, and standard answers. Some syllabus requirements are the same as those of the National.
The second part, "Key Points and Focus Areas," emphasizes the knowledge points that candidates must master and be familiar with, as well as frequently tested topics in the exam. Some of these are summarized in the form of diagrams or tables, helping candidates to integrate scattered content more effectively during revision, saving time and improving efficiency.
The third part, "Typical Examples," includes three types of questions based on the syllabus requirements: A-type questions (best-choice questions), B-type questions (matching questions), and X-type questions (multiple-choice questions). These are designed to help candidates practice after mastering the relevant knowledge points, familiarizing them with the question formats and reinforcing key focus areas.
- A-type questions are best-choice questions, with five answer options, one of which is the best answer.
- B-type questions are matching questions, using a shared set of five answer options. The options are listed first, followed by the questions. Each question has only one correct answer, and each option can be used more than once or not at all.
- X-type questions are multiple-choice questions, with two or more correct answers among five options.
