The animals of Manor Farm had long been dissatisfied with unfair treatment, and the owner's neglect further accelerated their desire for rebellion. After two famous battles, "The Great Rebellion of Animal Farm" and "The Battle of the Cowshed," the animals overthrew their masters and took control. Among them, the two most outstanding pigs—Napoleon and Snowball—transformed the relatively complete ideology of Animalism into the "Seven Commandments," which were then condensed into the maxim "Four legs good, two legs bad." However, the good times did not last long. The pigs, under the guise of "intellectual laborers," gradually rose from the privileged class to become rulers. Napoleon emerged victorious in the struggle for power, drove away his rival Snowball, and then carried out a bloody massacre, becoming the leader of the entire Animal Farm. The other animals had no choice but to endure in silence, though they remained rather puzzled: why had two-legged humans appeared in Animal Farm?
